What to include

To help us respond quickly, please include:

• Whether you’re using the mobile app, the website, or bite alerts
• Your device type and OS version (iPhone 15 / iOS 18, etc.) — for app issues
• A short description of what you did, what you expected, and what happened
• A screenshot if the issue is visual
• The lake or location you were reading, if the forecast itself is the concern

You do not need to include an account username — FishingAdvisor does not require accounts.

Reporting a bug

Bug reports are the fastest way to make the app better. If you spot a forecast that doesn’t match what you saw on the water, a screen that looks wrong, or an alert that fired when it shouldn’t have, please send it along. We keep a running list and roll fixes into new versions regularly.

Feature requests

We’re actively building. If there’s a species, water type, condition, or feature you wish FishingAdvisor did, tell us. Requests that align with what the app is trying to do (bite-window forecasting, species-appropriate lure guidance) move up the list quickly.

Bite alert questions

Alerts are silent by default. If you turned them on but haven’t received one, that’s often the expected behavior — alerts only fire when the forecast crosses a real bite-window threshold, which can go days between hits depending on the weather. If you believe an alert should have fired and didn’t, please email us with the date, the water, and the alert threshold you expected.
